Question by Janeka K: My best guy friend liked me and I told him we’d never date and now he’s acting weird?
He started to do weird things like looking in a mirror saying “look what a cute couple we’d make”
Kissing my cheek and telling me it’s french, even though he’s not french and doesn’t kiss anyone else
He purposely matched my dress at a formal event and said “haha, we should date” and kept using that as a ‘joke’
When I told him i was back together with my boyfriend he said “oh… that’s good for you isn’t it?”
When he said we should be backups if were 30 and not married, i said 30′s not desperate and anyway we’re not at all compatible and that’s when he started acting really weird. I asked to borrow his box of tissues for acting class and he said “you better not use a single tissue though, because it’s my last box!” and he never would have minded if i used anything of his before, he used to compliment me all the time now he tells me I look bad and have no talent, and if i text him what he’s up to he tries to prove I love him and miss him. He also started calling me bro to try to be nonchalant. Will things ever go back to normal? Is there a way I can make him be nice to me like he used to? He was one of my best friends and it makes me sad every day that he’s acting so weird.
