Question by Janeka K: My best guy friend liked me and I told him we’d never date and now he’s acting weird?
He started to do weird things like looking in a mirror saying “look what a cute couple we’d make”
Kissing my cheek and telling me it’s french, even though he’s not french and doesn’t kiss anyone else
He purposely matched my dress at a formal event and said “haha, we should date” and kept using that as a ‘joke’
When I told him i was back together with my boyfriend he said “oh… that’s good for you isn’t it?”
When he said we should be backups if were 30 and not married, i said 30′s not desperate and anyway we’re not at all compatible and that’s when he started acting really weird. I asked to borrow his box of tissues for acting class and he said “you better not use a single tissue though, because it’s my last box!” and he never would have minded if i used anything of his before, he used to compliment me all the time now he tells me I look bad and have no talent, and if i text him what he’s up to he tries to prove I love him and miss him. He also started calling me bro to try to be nonchalant. Will things ever go back to normal? Is there a way I can make him be nice to me like he used to? He was one of my best friends and it makes me sad every day that he’s acting so weird.

Question by Zombie Boromir: Psychology or “gut feelings” when it comes to love and relationships?
What do you prefer? Would you rather have a professional match you with someone who is mentally stable. Someone who is like you. The pros say that you will like this person and they will like you and you’ll live happily ever after. Or…do you think that is hogwash and would rather take your chances by your gut, intuition, and first impressions. i,e. Do you want someone to find you the “perfect date” or do you think that your intuition is good enough to tell if someone is “the one”?
